Headed by Andrew Watson who joined Sussex Beds™ in 1985, our experienced team on transport take great pride in their work and understand the importance in meeting & completing deliveries to the Sussex Beds™ high standard.
Where in the UK do you deliver to?
We offer a two man delivery service. This is to the room of your choice in your home. We deliver anywhere in Sussex and parts of Kent for £39.99 Monday to Saturday. Deliveries outside of these areas can be arranged at an additional cost. Please call or email our sales office for a quote. Unfortunately we are unable to offer the assembly services on a Saturday.
What does the delivery service entail?
Our delivery team will deliver your goods to a room of choice inside your property, or upon instruction will leave goods in secure locations such as a garage or porch.
We offer a two man delivery service to the room of your choice in your home, anywhere in Sussex and parts of Kent for £39.99. Deliveries outside of these areas can be arranged at an additional cost please call or email our sales office for a quote.
What about smaller items such as bedding, pillows and mattress protectors?
When ordering bedding such as pillows, mattress protectors, duvets, sheets etc without a mattress or bed, there is a £5.99 postage charge. We aim to get all bedding orders dispatched to you within 48 hours unless ordered on the weekend.
Alternatively we can arrange to deliver goods to your nearest Sussex Beds store ready for customer collection within 48 hours. This service is free of charge.
Do you offer an assembly service as well?
We do offer an assembly service for an additional varying cost depending on the type of goods that require assembling. Please see our Assembly Service information for more details.
How long does it take you to deliver?
Delivery times of goods vary depending on the product you are looking to purchase. The delivery time & availability is clearly stated on each product, which provides details of the stock position and anticipated delivery time.
We hold large stocks of various products, all of which can be delivered next day (Monday to Saturday). To guarantee next day delivery orders must be placed prior to midday. Alternatively you can pre-book delivery for a convenient day of your choosing.
Goods of which are not held in stock clearly display an estimated lead-time. We do not provide the facility to pre-book delivery on these specially ordered items. Instead you will be contacted upon their arrival to our distribution centre by our dispatch team to arrange a convenient day for delivery.
Can you remove our old items?
We do provide a removal of old goods service for additional costs please see Eco-Disposal information for more details.
If your property is difficult to locate it would be very helpful if you can provide our delivery team with instructions or directions to help us find your property.
Most of the items we deliver are both heavy & bulky in nature, therefore we request that access inside your property is free of obstructions en route to the room of choice. We request that paintings, pictures and wall art be removed prior to delivery taking place. If appropriate, protection is put in place to protect flooring.
